For the 2021-22 academic year we are launching an exciting new funding stream to bring visiting scholars to Cambridge, to enrich and renew visual culture studies across the University.
The scheme will be open to all researchers whose concern focuses on the visual. Applications are especially encouraged from:
- perspectives, fields, and geographies traditionally underrepresented in Cambridge
- researchers seeking to engage with an area of the University’s collections
- artist practitioners
Applicants should apply with the support of a sponsoring Cambridge academic. Enquiries should be addressed to the CVC Co-Directors.
Full details of the scheme will be released in Michaelmas term 2021, for visiting scholars to come to Cambridge in Easter term 2022.
CVC welcomes enquiries from scholars external to the University of Cambridge, either for Visiting Fellowships or for longer-term collaborations, such as British Academy and Leverhulme Trust Fellowships. If you’re interested in working with us, please contact one of the Co-Directors.
